Help California Artists Spread Awareness About Prop 37

1st Funded Mural
California Artists are on a mission to create awareness about Prop 37 and the importance it plays in each and everyone of our lives. This month they aim to create a series of large-scale painted murals in Oakland and Los Angeles  supporting Prop 37 and GMO awareness. Voting yes for Prop 37 is voting for your right to choose who decides what goes in your body.

The proposed Prop 37 would require the labeling of food products made from genetically modified organisms (GMO). As consumers and Americans it is our right and our responsibility to our health to know what we are putting in our bodies. Mega corporations like Monsanto, DuPont and Dow are angling to take that right away from us. They know that ensuring us the right to choose whether or not we consume their mutant foods will effect their bottom line.

Voice of Art is filming a documentary about these artists and their initiative. All of the mural artists involved are volunteering their time and skills for to create the murals. The cost of paint and other materials including safety equipment is difficult for these artists to bear. The artists are seeking modest donations of $300-$500 for each mural. As of today Voice of Art has documented 1 "Yes on Prop 37" mural in Los Angeles. There are three more murals lined up that need funding help (1 in Oakland in 2 in Los Angeles) with more possible if Artists can get them funded.

Please consider contributing to a Prop37/GMO awareness mural. As small donation will go a long way. If you would like more information please contact Ashley (650) 823-6080 /

Voice of Art is a documentary film series. We do not fund any of the featured artists or the projects they create. We only film and share what they themselves are accomplishing with their art.

All donations made through this button will be
used to pay for paint and equipment only.
Transactions will be handled by a 3rd party.
