GATS - Graffiti Against the System, Part 2
GATS and Miguel give accounts of the brutality of the Oakland Police Department. Killings of unarmed youth, the repression of free speech and how OPD has publicly refused to respond to 44 different types of crimes including burglary, theft and vandalism. GATS' explains how the people of Oakland now look out for one another in the absence of a humane police department. Boots Riley gives his first hand account of the OPD and says that Occupy is the beginning of what will be a radical militant labor movement. GATS and Miguel also prepare their epic city-wide graffiti poem.
